Logan University is proud to be participating in the 10th Annual USA Hockey Sled Classic hosted by the Disabled Athlete Sports Association (DASA) and the St. Louis Blues and presented by the National Hockey League and USA Hockey. The event will be held Nov. 21-24 at the Centene Community Ice Center in St. Louis – the practice facility and community rink of the St. Louis Blues – and will feature a round-robin format tournament between 35 NHL-affiliated sled hockey teams. Logan Reaffirms Commitment to Safety and Compliance at Summit

Logan University leadership took another step toward ensuring safety and compliance among all members of the Logan community. Last month, the Logan Paralympic Operations Department and the Logan Diversity & Compliance Department attended the second annual United States Olympic and Paralympic Committee (USOPC) and US Center of SafeSport Summit. Gateway to Gold Event Introduces Youth to Para Powerlifting

Mary Hodge, high performance manager for USA Para Powerlifting, recently participated in one of four national Gateway to Gold events. The free events are designed for youth with physical and visual impairments to test their athletic skills in a Paralympic sport.   Earlier this month in Texas, the Houston Sports Authority & TIRR Memorial Herman, a rehabilitation hospital, hosted four sports: powerlifting, table tennis, fencing and archery.
