Women’s Health Symposium Speaker: Sarah E. Radabaugh, DC

From 2 to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 28, Sarah Radabaugh, DC will lead a presentation on “What Chiropractors Need to Know to Support their Breastfeeding Patients” as part of the American Chiropractic Association (ACA) Women’s Council Women’s Health Symposium at Logan University.

In this presentation, Dr. Radabaugh will address the normal course of breastfeeding, myths and research, breastfeeding and pumping ergonomics, home exercises, how to alleviate some stress from your first-time breastfeeding mom, and much more.

“Your first-time breastfeeding mom will most likely be sleep deprived. She will be exhausted and worried,” Dr. Radabaugh says. “As chiropractors, we can help them by adjusting their bodies to be at ease, while offering a number of breastfeeding resources to put their minds at ease as well.”

Currently, Dr. Radabaugh serves as treasurer for the ACA Women’s Health Council and is a member of the ACA Council on Chiropractic Pediatrics. She was named Wyoming Chiropractic Association Chiropractor of the Year in 2016 and was awarded Pediatric Chiropractor of the Year by the ACA Council on Chiropractic Pediatrics in 2018.
